PSY 303 - Perception

An examination of how sense organs collect information from the environment and how the brain interprets sensory information to allow interaction with the environment. Topics include object recognition, depth perception, color vision, perception and action, hearing, speech perception, touch, taste, and smell. Includes discussion of perceptual illusions and sensory and perceptual disorders.

Prerequisite(s): PSY 300 and a grade of 'C' or better in PSY 259.
