Full-Time and Part-Time Status

A student's registration determines whether they are enrolled full-time or part-time for the term. Tuition, fees, and financial aid will be adjusted based on this status.

To be considered full-time, students must be admitted to a graduate program and register for 9-15 semester credit hours, with the typical workload being 12 credits per semester.

Part-time enrollment is categorized as follows:

• Three-quarter time: Registered in at least 6.75 credits.
• Half-time: Registered in at least 4.5 credits.
• Quarter time: Registered in at least 2.25 credits.
• Less than quarter time: Registered in fewer than 2.25 credits.
